The HLTAID011 Provide First Aid is the standard WorkCover approved first aid course required by most industries. This course empowers participants with the knowledge and skills needed to manage emergency first aid situations. This course focuses on improving the confidence and ability of participants to be able to effectively provide first aid care until the arrival of professional medical support.

Assessment Methods
*Completion of an online component
*Completion of an incident report form- online
*CPR Practical assessment including 2min of CPR on and Adult, child and infant
*Use of an AED and rotation of operators
*Recovery position
*Use of an Epi Pen
*Asthma treatment
*Injury scenarios incorporating the practical treatment of various injuries.

Transfer Of Bookings:
Transfers are available prior to the commencement date. A transfer to another course will be issued if we receive a written request 5 business days prior to your nominated course commencement date. If a transfer is made less than 5 days prior to the course commencement date, a $22.00 administration fee will apply. If a written request is not received within 48 hours of the course commencement date, the participant will forfeit 100% of the course fee.
Refunds:
A refund is given if a written request is received 5 days prior to the scheduled course commencement date and an administration fee of $22.00 (GST included) will be incurred. All refund requests to be emailed to certificates@southcoastfirstaid.com.au Refunds will be issued within 5 days of receiving the cancellation documentation. If a written request is not received within 5 days of the course commencement date, the participant will forfeit 100% of the course fee.
Schedule Changes:
Events Beyond Our Control: we may need to cancel or reschedule training courses or services due to any event beyond our reasonable control. Healthcorp will endeavour to offer an alternate date for your course however, in the event that the alternate date is not suitable, a full refund of the course fee will be provided.
* It is a requirement of the Unit of Competency that the CPR on the adult and child manikins must be performed kneeling on the ground, no exceptions. Participants are advised to wear comfortable casual attire.
